BB: $75.95 (VPIP: 18.98, PFR: 15.09, 3Bet Preflop: 8.00, Hands: 416)
UTG: $53.05 (VPIP: 10.00, PFR: 8.33, 3Bet Preflop: 4.55, Hands: 61)
Hero (UTG+1): $57.14
MP: $103.67 (VPIP: 12.65, PFR: 9.45, 3Bet Preflop: 3.27, Hands: 666)
CO: $51.32 (VPIP: 26.47, PFR: 8.82, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 37)
BTN: $61.25 (VPIP: 20.70, PFR: 17.20, 3Bet Preflop: 12.24, Hands: 376)
SB: $50.25 (VPIP: 14.71, PFR: 8.82, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 35)

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has 4:diamond: 4:heart:

fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, CO calls $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, fold, fold

Flop: ($5.25, 3 players) K:club: J:club: K:diamond:
Hero checks, CO checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($5.25, 3 players) 2:diamond:
Hero bets $3.00, fold, BTN calls $3.00

River: ($11.25, 2 players) 4:club:
Hero bets $3.00, BTN calls $3.00

Any way against 3 opponents we don't c bet but after they all check we decide to fire one bet to fold all kine of stuff like all pocket pairs until 10's, and get value from draws. On the river small bet was because i want to induce raise from K but not go all in because KJ.

How do we played the hand? Is the turn bet wrong? Is it terribly wrong to bet so small on the river?

Hi rudar,

Personally I'm not keen on firing the turn delayed c-bet. Once we check the flop, we are more likely to get called by pocket pairs and Jx (showdown value hands). And the CO seems like a candidate to not fold these types of hands at any point.

OTR when we get there, I like betting bigger than this for value. The showdown value hands will pay us given the action sequence, and the flopped flush draw got there, which will also pay. I don't expect the small sizing to induce any raises, if the opponent is ranging us, because our action looks weak like a blocking bet by a modest hand strength, none of which would call a raise. For this reason the sizing would be a good bluff inducer, but the villain has already had 2 chances in position to bluff and didn't chose to take them, so it seems unlikely he has much air that would bluff now, and much more likely he has showdown value that will call $3 or call $7, so go for the bigger value bet imo.
