Free tourney ticket bundle worth $7.50

Deposit $25 or more before 23:59 ET on August 10 using the bonus code ‘OMAHAWEEK’ and get five free $1.50 Omaha tournament tickets. The free tickets in the bundle are valid for all $1.50 Omaha Sit & Go and scheduled tournaments with a buy-in of $1.50. Please Note: Cashing out before making a qualifying deposit will make you ineligible for the free tourney ticket bundle. No game play is required to receive the instant ticket bundle. All free Omaha tournament tickets can be used after the end of Omaha Week but will expire on November 8 if unused. This offer is limited to one deposit per player.

Taster Tourneys - Turn FPPs into cash prizes

Never played the different Omaha variants before? Sign up for the Omaha Taster Tourneys taking place throughout the week, each with a five FPP buy-in and a $500 prize pool. Learn the dynamics of each game without dipping into your bankroll, and see if you can turn your FPPs into a great cash prize.

All Omaha Week Taster Tourneys can be found under ‘Tourneys’ > ‘Special’ in the PokerStars lobby.

Omaha Happy Hours

Earn 50% more VIP Player Points (VPPs) and Frequent Player Points (FPPs) in Omaha ring games (including ZOOM) and Sit & Go tourneys during special Omaha Week Happy Hours. There will also be a special Happy Hour each day for that day’s Omaha game type.

Happy Hours run at the following times every day from August 4-10:
  • 04:00-05:00 ET: All Omaha game types
  • 12:00-13:00 ET: Extra points in Omaha Game Type of the Day only (all Omaha game types on August 10)
  • 20:00-21:00 ET: All Omaha game types

Please Note: Heads-Up Sit & Go’s and ring games only receive 30% extra VPPs and FPPs during Omaha Week Happy Hours. All Sit & Go and scheduled tournaments eligible in the Happy Hours are marked with a Happy Hour icon. Only tournaments that start within the Happy Hour award extra VPPS and FPPs - the end time of the tournament is not considered.

On Saturday, August 9 we have doubled the guarantees in all of the daily Omania tournaments.

If you're new to Pot Limit Omaha and are thinking of playing any of the 'Taster Tourneys' today on PokerStars then you might find this introductory video from Roy 'GodlikeRoy' Bhasin useful.

Hi All,

We also have a special ticket awarding Live Training today at 20ET for Omaha week!

Omaha Week - PLO Quizzing

We'll be doing some PLO hand quizzing in this class. In addition for the last omaha week I did an introduction to PLO class (with the hold'em player in mind) which is now in the video archive... links to that are included in the class description for tonight's quizzing class via the link above!

Even if you are totally new to PLO, you can make a splash during omaha week with confidence: Watch my intro videos as well as Roy's video that royalraise posted, come to the quizzing class, and you will be ready to attack PLO during omaha week with a good head on your shoulders.

Attendees to the Live Training tonight will receive a school pass ticket.

Played a 5 FPP Taster and a $1.50 Special. Bust in both.

Though in the Taster I was against the monster PLO K872 rainbow hand. In the Special against limp KKxx that made top set and slow played me to the rail.

There's not I'm afraid but the good news is that we will be recording this session and it will be available sometime tomorrow.

I'll post a Youtube version of it in this thread

Managed to get a little piece of the $500 added by PokerStars on the 2+2 poker cast free-roll OmahaWeek PLO 6-max.

You finished the tournament in 30th place. A USD 5.93 award has been credited to your Real Money account.

PLO newbie.

Edit: Think it was a $1.10, anyway - result!
