Hi, I just started playing with real money, and while playing (i only play Texas Hold'em) sometimes only the big and little blinds contribute to the pot, and other times the blinds post as well as all other players adding in an ante... I always thought in Texas Hold'em only the blinds contribute before seeing cards.. any reasons as to why im sitting at tables that do and some tables that dont do this? and any advice on finding the tables that dont?

You can choose to sit at regular tables or there are also deepstack 'ante' tables available where everyone posts an ante preflop.

You can choose to filter these out like 'anti5live' has said so that they won't appear for you in the client
