With 56s in the BB, when I get a raise and a call in front of me, a read of the opps is mandatory. How are they playing??????? Please always include this information for all relevant players (others in the hand or left to act), as this information is necessary to determine what to do.

If either of the opps is a tighter player, then this is an instant muck preflop.

If both opps are very loose, then I'd call preflop and lead out for 2/3 pot on the flop (973 chips)... not more. Overbetting is a big tell for what I'm holding and something that I do not want to do.

On the turn, I also need to bet 2/3 pot (due to 2 opps), 2973 chips.

When the river completes both a 4-straight and the flush, I need to check and hope to get to showdown.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
