The villain seemed like a reasonably good TAG player. From 260 hands his stats were VPIP: 16, PFR: 13, AF: 3.9.

I was reluctant to call the turn raise, but I'm not too sure what he could have had. Because he flatted preflop, it seems like he has a pocket pair, and the raise on the turn suggests pocket 8s? I'm not too sure. If that's the case, I would have been drawing slim anyway so probably I should have folded the turn raise I think.

It would be good to get anyone's opinion

Hi! it seem that after he calls your potsized flop bet he has a set a lot of the time in this situation. i would bet the flop smaller since it is dry . As played i would fold to the turn raise, i think it means a set a lot of the time. its good that you at least saved some chips on the river to what it look like a very strong hand.
Good luck
