It is Hot $3.30 Turbo. I thought turn is better to bet-fold or should I just check the turn?

How to play this hand? Why is he shoving if he was chasing flush draw?

PS: Is this a day where I am getting drawn out in every hand I play or is everyone making a move on me? This is the 6th hand where I was getting drawn out but sometimes I think they might be making a play on me.

Hi adikumar2010!

With KK preflop, I'm going to make a standard raise.

I see a 3-way flop that brings a flush draw and multiple straight draws. With an overpair to the board, I need to make a standard value bet and will bet 2/3 pot.

The turn brings an A and with one opp left in the hand, I have two choices. I can take one last chance to win the pot here and bet 1/2 pot or I can check. I prefer betting to checking as if I check, if the opp is a competent player, they have a good reason to represent the ace whether they have it or not and bet (causing me to fold). When the opp shoves over my value bet, this is going to be from an ace or KT (not a flush draw) and due to this, I need to fold. The opp most likely has AJ, AQ or KT.. and all 3 of these leave me with 2 outs max.. so I absolutely need to fold. A flush draw would be more likely to shove the flop, not the turn when their hand equity has been cut in half.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
