hello guys,

new to this thingy.. wonder if you can help me understand some noob questions..

basically i just entered a freeroll pokerschool open skill league..

basically prize money is from 1-90 or perhaps more.. but when i check the tournament info.. it says players would be paid from 91-1080 as well.. but i see the awards are based on % basis..

can someone tell me that % basis is based on what percentage? its just a small percentage.. maybe even less than 0.05 percent.. but its still good to know..

thanks for replying..

regards

Hello exit11967 in regards to your question.

Usually the prize money is 1st to 90th place depending on how many players enter,it may sometimes be a little higher.

When it says places paid , it means points you will receive towards the leaderboard. Again it depends how many players have entered the tourney it ranges up and down and will usually tell you in the chat window under tourney info.
Go to Poker School Online and their will be more info their in regards to how points are awarded, plus of course prizes.

Best of Luck, Screen Name JBCD71

Hi exit11967,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline! JBCD has pretty much explained it. The Open League games have $10 prize money added but as there are so many players that $10 doesn't stretch too far so usually only 90 places get paid. However for the points awarded the "ITM" is considered as the top roughly 14% I believe. You can find more info on the Open League here if you wish to learn more.

Here is a link to help familiarize you with all the features and services available at PSO. Feel free to look around the forum and post any of your comments or questions.
