What should I do here it's $11 Sunday Warm Up Satellite with 10mins blind level. I am 126/202 and 15 seats paid. So long way to go.

I am facing a 22BB 4-bet shove !

Hi Adi,

In my live trainings when we get a hand like QQ with less than 30bb like we have here, I usually end up saying something along the lines of "with QQ and this stack size I would need to see some pretty extreme action sequence to consider folding preflop, and this isn't it". Most of the time, in those live training spots, it wasn't.

The hand you've posted might serve as a nice example of such an extreme action sequence however. We have an UTG open, an UTG+1 shove for 20bb, and then a reshove from a 23bb stack. UTG might be bluffing or have a somewhat marginal value hand, but opening from his position we can probably lean towards a stronger range. UTG+1 might be re-stealing light sometimes, but given the positions, his 20bb shove should be heavily weighted towards value if not all value. The 3rd guy can't be bluffing, since he already has UTG+1 all in in front of him. He's got a strong hand. How strong is unclear, but he hasn't played a hand in his first 7 looks at this table so I doubt he's going to choose this spot without a monster. JJ+/AK is probably the softest range I'd expect him to show up with.

So I would say gross spot, but I think finding a fold here is reasonable.

I wouldn't care what the facebook army has to say. There are very few situations where you'll be folding QQ preflop on 26bbs, but if there's ever any, this seems like it could be one of the few.

I didn't watch the result because it doesn't matter, I'm sure you would have won since you folded and posted the hand, results oriented thinking still not good.

I would understand one getting in QQ here, but I think it is akin to saying they would never fold QQ preflop with 26bb to any action sequence, and I personally don't think that's right as an absolute. You made a disciplined fold and given the extreme nature of the action I think you should pat yourself on the back, don't let the haters bother you.
