Well done eyecu777!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Great job eyecu777!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundementals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Ok, I'm not happy with this play, it was really a fold or shove short stacked. Needed to narrow the field or get away and I didn't.

Post flop, now I have no intention of folding this low on chips. Being sure a bet (continuation bet at least) is coming as it was standard at this table, though the check is questionable, I feel as though a check raise is going to get more in the pot and possible commit the flush draws who open post flop or make the call. Not fearing anything but AJ, being as how the pre flop play transpired, figured Babnata bet a jack into the pre flop raiser and carora2009 was on the flush draw (or even better an over card draw as I had seen him/her calling in spots out of position with 1 over card). So I push and wind up slitting a $1.03 pot for a gain of $0.17 which if I had just pushed post flop may have only been a $0.04 gain. Don't feel very good about this one in many ways and had to make the best of the first mistake. Good? Bad?

Great eyecu777!

We now have credited your account with your 3rd bonus and You're doing a fantastic job so far!

Now take some time and using the information you've learned so far evaluate this hand and ask yourself the following questions:

1. Was my starting hand good enough to play from this position?

2. Did I evaluate the strength of my hand postflop?

3. Was my bet-sizing correct?

When at PokerSchoolOnline you are welcome post many hands for discussion in our Hand Review Forum and we welcome you to post questions there on the above hand.

Now here's a video to help you understand Cash Game poker better.

You've still got one bonus to receive.

Step Four

Attend any LIVE TRAINING session here at PokerSchoolOnline. You must actually attend the session to get your bonus.

Please let us know what Live Training session you have attended. NB It must be a live training session that takes place after this post was posted. Past live training sessions do not count.

Let us know the Date/Time and Title of the session you attend and we will check your attendance and credit you with your final bonus. If you make a deposit at this stage you will also receive your final bonus.
