I really got this one wrong but not sure how I could have got away from it unless I had folded to the 3bet pre flop.

Would really appreciate some advice on if there is anyway to avoid this in the future.

I think indeed that calling a 3bet with KTo is not the way to provit...

OTR, what hands will call your shove? Every other ten is a split. AT: you loose, AA: you loose, 22: you loose, A2 : you win.

Would A2 have 3betted you pre? no.
Would KK, QQ, JJ call? not a chance
So you eighter split or loose.
Suppose you check, he might check behind and you win if he does not have a 10, if he has a 10, you split.

If he shoves, I would still call so in this hand, the result is the same.

Thanks for that informative answer.

Yeah in light of what happened calling the 3bet was a mistake and possibly leading out the betting may also have been a mistake. But guess we learn by our mistakes.

Is it me but it seems way too common in pokerstars for multiple pairs in the same hand, always find it strange that when you get a pair there are usually at least one or two more have a pair.

Simple because people like pocketpairs, thats why you see them often at showdown. Especially at lowest levels. people just hold on to them way too often
