Hi Everyone I am starting the Ferguson Challenge.

If you are not familiar with the challenge ill give you some background on it.

8 years ago Chris Ferguson challenged himself to start with zero dollars in his account and to turn his bankroll into $10000. Once he got to $50 he set a set of guidelines for bankroll management. He has to strictly stay within these guidelines throughout the challenge. These rules are:

1. Never buy into a ring game or Single Table SHG that is more than 5% of my bankroll.

2. Never buy into a MTT for more than 2% of my bankroll.

3. If on a NLHE or PLHE the stack represents 10% of my bankroll i must leave the table.

My challenge is go to be a little different as I am going to start with the $50 and work my way to $10,000 (hopefully). There is no time line for me to get these done but I,m hoping that by Dec 31, 2015 I will be there. This challenge took ferguson 16 months to complete. However more than half of that time was trying to get to $50.

I will be updated my status every Sunday to show how I am doing. I am not familiar on how to do charts if someone wants to take the time to help me with doing that that would be great and will do. I will update the amount of play each day and the amount gain or lose per day.

I will likely put long hours in on some day as I tend to have to study accounting and will play while studying.

I have started already so look for my update on Sunday.

Wish me luck.

Antoinio

So as I said in started the challenge on Saturday. Here are the results from Saturdays Play.

I was mostly buying in for the minimum on the 2NL Zoom and when I made it to $5 cashed it out and started again with $2 as that is the minimum when starting again. I was finding success in the zoom poker session I had I was hitting everything, which you can see with my gain of $13.31 over 800 hands in a 2NL table. After about 700 hands I was starting to get a cold deck, so I walked away when and did some errands. After few hours I came back and went to the new Spin N Go and lost two tourneys which I lost both on a coin flip (so next one is mine mathematically lol).
Results:
Game Hands/Tourney Played Gain/Loss BankRoll
Started $50.00

ZOOM: 2NL 800 $ 13.31 $63.31

SPIN N GO 6 $ - $63.31

The Hot .55 1 $ (0.55) $62.76

ZOOM: 2NL 1951 $ (3.80) $58.96

.27 MTT 1 $ (0.27) $58.69

.5 45SNG 1 $ (0.50) $58.19

ENDING BANK ROLL: $58.19
So far pretty good will update you next sunday.
