It is $3.30 KO MTT with around 500 runners. 10mins regular blind structure and 3000 starting stack. It also has $0.50 bounty on every player. Same game from which I posted a hand 15mins back for analysis.

What's the best thing to do Run Stop and Go or just shove right now? I have only 7BB's. 640 chips in the pot already and I have 895 behind.

I can tell you with my stack size and the limper's stack I am sure that I will get 1 call from the big stack and maybe both the limpers will call my shove, who knows. So my fold equity is 0%. I will 100% pickup one caller most proabably the huge stack limper.

Considering zero Fold equity and this hand is a waste as we know coz they can limp over pocket pairs and some random over cards. 44's is just like 78o at this moment. Anyways what do you suggest stop & go into 3 players or shove right here right now?

Hi adi,

Firstly I disagree that fold equity on a shove is zero %. I've been over this before in other hands of yours so I won't belabor the point, but if people will fold to a 3x open they will limp-fold to a 7x shove. Maybe based on dynamic and reads you believe you'll be called more often than normal... maybe even a lot more often. That's fair. But 0% fold equity just isn't.

I want to talk about the stop and go though which is your question. We should never be trying a stop and go here because we have 3 opponents. The stop and go is ideally for heads up action, maybe once in a while 3 handed, but never 4 or more. The whole premise of the stop and go is giving the opponent a chance to fold after they see an unfavorable flop. The more players, the bigger the chance someone has a hand that can call us on the flop. So in this spot shoving is far superior to a stop and go, as we will be likely to fold out someone, increasing our chances to win the pot unimproved, and we re-open the action to the other players giving them a chance to reshove to isolate on us (applying further pressure to the others to go away and increasing your chances to win).

So either shove, or check and see a free flop, check-folding when you don't flop a set. Personally I lean towards shoving here.
