hello to all at pokerschool
i am taking this time to write this post as i feel i need to apologise to a number of members for a number of reasons.
i have been playing poker in private cash games for a number of years and have always done well,i can honestly say that over the past 5 years i have made a considerable profit, but tournament play is a whole new experience and a whole new ball game.
i went to a casino for the first time 3 months ago and played in a pot limit holdem tournament,it was my first experience playing against such a large field and to my surprise i took 1st prize, from that moment i was hooked and have played in many tournaments since.
Thats where my problems begin.since that first tornament i have played around 30 more but only made 2 final tables and not finished better than 6th.obviously the first tournament i caught the cards and made the right moves and had a certain amount of "beginners luck"but since then i have realised i cannot continue to play my cash game in tournaments.
i came accross pokerschool by accident but after reading into it a little i thought it would be the ideal place to learn how to play tournament style.sorry for droning on for so long but here comes the apology.

I AM SORRY TO EVERYBODY WHO HAS BEEN BUSTED OUT OF A TOURNAMENT EARLY BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO GO ALL IN WITH 7 2 OFF SUIT THEN CAUGHT 7 2 RIVER AND TURN TO BEAT AA,I AM SORRY TO EVERYBODY WHO HAS RAISED ME WITH AA,KK,AK ETC WHO IHAVE RERAISED WITH 22 AND CAUGHT A 2 ON THE RIVER.
PLEASE FORGIVE ME AND TRY TO REMEMBER THAT ALTHOUGH I KNOW THE RULES THE CASH PLAYER IN ME KEEPS TRYING TO REWRITE THEM,SO ALTHOUGH I FEEL I AM POSSIBLY IMPROVING I STILL FEEL SURE THERE WILL BE A FEW MORE "BAD BEATS"TO COME BUT I PROMISE I AM NOT A FOOL,A RAGMAN,AND ANY NUMBER OF NAMES I HAVE BEEN CALLED I AM JUST A NOVICE.

if anyone made it to the end of this post thanks for listening and sorry for boring you to death but the point is,i know i am guilty of bad play but i wont get any better if i dont make mistakes and learn from them.
so once again SORRY
